This new series of works proposes ways of inserting silverware into the active flow of things, either by imagining new functions for it or by deforming its usual uses. However, unlike previous projects, the handcrafted objects exhibited here -products of a disobedient heritage- are not intended to be discreetly integrated into everyday life, but on the contrary to highlight the extraordinary and rare in our customs.

In this collection of pieces, halfway between jewelry and tools, the techniques of traditional silversmithing from the inner country -especially a high ornate chiseling- serve to materialize intimate and collective fantasies.

From a personal and capricious search, but rooted in our territory, the works constitute contributions to configure a vernacular fantasy, an alienated costumbrismo.
